• Deadline for Consignors to Enter Items:  Monday, 4/17/2023 11:00 PM CST. Tags can be printed after this but NO MORE ITEMS CAN BE ENTERED TO SELL. 

• Consignor Drop Off: Friday, April 21 from 1pm - 6:15pm. Consignors select a drop-off timeslot in their account.

• Consignor Pickup: Sunday, April 23 from 6pm to 8pm

Items accepted: new or gently used costumes, cosplay, garb, reenactment, formals (Mardi Gras or prom), geeky / fandom clothing, accessories (hats, gloves, jewelry, purses,  wigs, shoes), sewing (patterns, fabric, trims for costumes), décor (event, photography, theater, seasonal, home), and other items related to costuming. The majority of the items consigned will be for adults. Children's items will be accepted.

Inventory will be similar to what was found at Josette's.

• You do not have to be present at the sale to sell your items. You tag them at home, drop them off to us, and we do the rest!  
• Within 2 weeks after the sale closes, Consignor will receive settlement payout through PayPal to the email used to pay the registration fee.  
• It's easy to consign! The computerized system is simple and easy to use. Log in, click on "work with my inventory" and just fill in the blank or use voice entry! When done adding all your items  just click on "print my tags." No need to handwrite anything. The system is a great way to keep up with your inventory and see just how much you have for sale!!

You may want to bring a laundry basket or rolling suitcase to use as a shopping cart * NO STROLLERS, NO  LARGE PURSES, NO DIAPER BAGS OR NO BACKPACKS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CONSIGNMENT AREA. This is to protect YOUR consigned merchandise.

Team Member volunteers shop first. Without Team Members we would not be able to do what we do. So we let our Team Members shop first! Register as a Team Member online.

Consignors also have early shopping times before the sale opens to the public.

Super Team Members have volunteered for 2 or more work shifts.

Team Members have volunteered for 1 work shift

Your consignor registration fee helps cover the cost of the location rental, advertising, insurance, display racks, supplies, consignment software, etc. 

Each consignor chooses how they want to price their items. We recommend pricing your items 30-50% of original retail. That being said, the lower you price your items, the better they will sell. You should think about what you would pay for the items if you were buying them.

At the sale, there is no negotiating the prices - the price on your tag is what it will be sold for. However, the last day of the sale is the 50% off sale day. It is up to you as the consignor to decide if you would like your items to be discounted on that day. When making your product tags online, you may choose which, if any, items you would like to be discounted. Discount days are big shopping days at the sale so we do recommend that you discount your items. 

You will be able to go into your consignor account each night to see which items have sold.  Each night of the sale, the system will be updated with items sold during the day.

As a consignor, you get to shop the private pre-sale!!!! The pre-sale is opens one hour before the public sale - so you get first pick of the merchandise! All consignors get to come to the pre-sale, however, if you volunteer as a Team Member, you get into the pre-sale even earlier! Consignors also get early entry to Half Price Shopping. 

You may pick up your items after the sale is ended. If you do not want to or are not able to pick up your items on the designated times, your items will be donated for you. You must decide to donate or not to donate each item when making your product tags online. MMCC Consignment donates thousands of items to a charity at the end of the sale. 

We CAN'T do it without you. Team Members are VITAL to the success of Mystical Market and Costume Consignment (MMCC) Sale! Once you are a registered consignor, you will have an opportunity to view available Team Member opportunities within your account.

• Team members that help with setting up the sale see all the items first!
• Shop first at the Team Member preview sale! The Team Member Pre-Sale is held one day prior to the Consignor Early Shopping. As a Team Member, you will be able to shop first at each sale. It is our way to say “thank you”! 
• Shop early at the Half Off Sale!
• Shifts are not required to be consecutive.
• We offer shifts at many different times in order to accommodate your busy schedule.
•  Snacks and drinks are provided!
• Each volunteer gets a volunteer red Faery-Ball t-shirt  (to be worn while on duty). 
• You get to meet and connect with other local costumers!
• Husbands can be team members too. We need men who can help with the setup and breakdown of the racks and fixtures!

As a Team Member, you have the opportunity to shop early PLUS  if you work at least 1 shift, your $10 seller fee will be refunded and included with your consignor payout.  

• 1 shift team members are eligible to shop the Friday 7:30 PM Team Member Pre-Sale and Sunday 12:20pm Team Member Early Half Price Sale.
• 2+ shift Super Team members are eligible to shop the Friday 7:00 PM Team Member Early Pre-Sale and Sunday 12:00pm Super Team Member Early Half Price Sale.

Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The tasks assigned to workers during their shift are dependent on the needs of a shift. We will always give complete instructions to workers so that they will be comfortable with the tasks assigned to them. It's easy, it's fun!!  

Set-Up:

• Help set up tables and racks. Strong back helpful.
• Assist consignors with bringing in their items
• Once items have been evaluated at check-in, you will help by putting items in the correct areas on the sales floor.
• Ensure all consignment items are grouped in the correct locations
• Keep the sales floor neat and organized

Sale:

• Assist shoppers on the sales floor
• Help at check-out
• Assist shoppers to their vehicles
• Constantly keeping the sales floor neat and organized

Tear Down:

• Sort consigned items into piles for consignor pickup or donation. There is a lot of walking with this shift, please be prepared to walk a lot and move quickly as the sorting needs to be done by a certain time.
• Assist consignors to their vehicles
• Take down racks and tables. Strong back helpful.

Drop Off Items:

• If you want to get to shop early but don't have time, there are a few specific items you can buy and drop off to count as a shift.

Signing-up for shifts is on a first-come first-served basis. Register for your shifts early after you log on to your account. Only available shifts will show online, so if you don't see the shift you were looking for, it is already full. However, we are always looking for Team Members so e-mail us at the address on the Contact Us page and we will try to find a spot for you. After you register online you will receive a confirmation e-mail and will also receive a reminder e-mail the week of the sale.
