Faery-Ball Code of Conduct

Creating Safe, Magical, and Respectful Spaces for All Realms

The Faery-Ball is an immersive, formal costumed experience — a night of fantasy where the veil thins and all realms gather in celebration. As guests of the Faery Queen’s Court, we invite you to dance, explore, and make memories, while helping raise funds for local nonprofits.

To ensure a welcoming, safe, and magical experience for everyone, all attendees agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct.

Faery-Ball is built on the principles of Creativity, Community, Consent, Kindness, Chivalry, Honor, Artistry, Collaboration, and Philanthropy. This is a place of inclusion, imagination, and escape — a sacred space between the worlds where everyone can be their truest, most magical self.

 

🧚 THE BASICS

✔ Respect personal space
✔ No touching or photography without consent
✔ No illegal drugs or outside food/drink
✔ When in doubt, wear black
✔ Faery or elf ears encouraged!
❗If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, find a Faery Queen’s Advisor immediately
 

📝 Full Code of Conduct

1. Adults Only (18+)

All guests must be 18+ with a valid photo ID. No minors unless expressly pre-approved in writing by Faery-Ball management. This is a PG-13 event.

2. Private Event, Public Invitation

Faery-Ball events are private events open to the public by ticket only. Management reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission.

3. Consent & Civility

Respect others’ personal space and boundaries. No unwanted touching. Treat all guests as if they are visiting royalty — because they are.

4. No Smoking, No Vaping, No E-Cigarettes, No Cannabis 

5. No Outside Food or Drink

(Except approved medical items)

6. Prop Weapons Must Be Peace-Tied

All costume weapons must be secured and decorative only. Any weapon used in a performance must be pre-approved in writing by event management.

7. Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Faery-Ball is a welcoming space for all ethnicities, genders, body types, identities, and abilities. Harassment of any kind (in person or online) will not be tolerated. Violators may be removed without refund and banned at management's discretion.

8. Photo & Media Policy

  • No photography without verbal consent.

  • No professional photography without prior written approval and a Faery-Ball photo pass.

  • Guests may take personal photos with consent from all individuals in frame.

  • Use hashtag #FaeryBall on social media to share the magic.

9. Neutral Ground Policy (Alternative Communities)

This is neutral territory. Leave all outside titles, roles, and dynamics at the door.

10. No Muggle Politics

This is a politics-free zone. Leave real-world debates behind and focus on the fantasy.

11. No Soliciting

Flyers, promotions, recruiting, or sales of non-affiliated products or events must be approved in writing by Faery-Ball management.

12. Dress Code

Costumes or formalwear are required. When in doubt, wear black-on-black.

🚨 Violations & Enforcement

Any violation of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from the event without refund and/or permanent ban from future events, at the sole discretion of Faery-Ball management.
